The inner caves were dank and strangely warm, a light pierced the darkness. This light was no ordinary light, but it was coming from something living. The light was white and had a flare to it, at the source something was walking through the tunnels. A stranger was the source and he was just passing through the caves. He was humming a tune to pass the time while he walked.
The stranger was wearing a cloak with a hole to shine the light so he could see where he was going.

A softball sized silver spike ball just whizzed past the hooded figures head and hit the wall making a huge impact and leaving a huge dent. A female blond dog, around five foot seven walked out from around a corner "sorry I thought you where someone else" He quickly apologized as he put the spike ball on a chain around her neck like a necklace "Whats your name I want to apologies properly for the sneak attack" She was a stunning beauty in her black outfit but her eyes said she was more then just a body.

Jazz wiped his forehead like he was getting rid of sweat, he was actually glad to see that miss him. He then looked at her and studied for a minute to see if she was a good soul. He then walked toward her and unveiled his head. His body was emmitting a light that could blind when aimed just right. All anyone could really see of his face is his black sunglasses and visor on his face. "Well well well, what's a pretty dog doin in a cave like this? I'm Jazz by the way and that thing that you threw could have hurt." He then pointed his claw at the spot where the ball landed and the place lit up.

The female bent over and turned her head to look at the glowing spot. it would have been easier to turn and then bend over to look at it but she was to curious about the light to think about that she was showing the cleavage she tried to cover up with her long hair. She stood strait up "nice to meet you Jazz I'm Bling" he held out a her hand. Her fir glowed a gold because of the amount of light coming off the Jazz.
"And I'm just here looking around, it might be a good place for some privacy, when planing stuff or just alone time" Bling answered with complete truth, Jazz seemed harmless so far and if he was harmful then well she had a five thousand pound spike ball hanging around her neck to deal with that.

Jazz then took her hand and shook it with gratitude. "Thats some necklace you got on..." Jazz pointed out as he began to walk towards her. "How are you able to carry that thing around your neck?" He then turned his head and then scratched his horns like he was confused. "I mean from your physical appearance you don't look like you are that strong." He then turned around and began to head in the other direction. "So are you coming or not?"

Bling started following Jazz, he had to watch Jazz he seemed like he would be a good friend "I have magnetic powers so I have a small magnet field around my body, it takes the weight off of it. I mean five thousand pounds would break anyones neck" Bling said like it was a normal every day conversation. "OK my question, why do you glow like that?" She asked her voice starting to sound a bit impressed or like she was trying to flirt with Jazz but she truly was not. well maybe in the back of her head but thats deep in the back of her head (you know the little part of you that makes you think things you normally would not do)

Jazz stopped for a moment and thought about what Bling just said. He didn't know how to tell her about how he is able to glow or what Significance it was. But Jazz couldn't help the fact that he likes to chat. "The reason that I glow is because I have the power to bend light to my will." He said with a calm tone of voice. "For you see, I am Jazz the Diamond dragon. My body is made of diamond-like scales and I was born with the power to control light."

"Wow thats pretty cool" She said looking at his face "A dragon and an big one... may I touch your horns?" She asked a bit shyly "I have never gotten a chance to touch actual dragon horns, the rest I have seen where fake or to far away" Bling asked as she blushed a bit, she was asking to touch him and well he was a good looking dragon with a radiant aura of light.

Jazz looked rather embarassed but he then thought about it and agreed. In order for her to touch his horns he had to kneel down and pull his hood off again. His wings were getting cramped under his cloak anyway. "Okay here you go." He knelt down so she could reach his horns.

Bling slowly reached out and gently placed one hand on one of his horns, she movers her hand slowly across it. She liked the feel of the texture of the horn, they made Jazz look more regal and its like they demanded the respect of others. She griped it with one hand and let the hand slide off the back " I actually like the feel and texture of that... Thanks Jazz" She blushed a bit, she had no idea why it was so embarrassing it would be like him patting her on the head... Or was it, she didn't have horns so she wouldn't know.
"they really make you look regal" She said fiddling with her spike ball and waiting for him to get up.

"Thanks, but I wasn't going for the regal look. I was just born with these."Jazz then stood up and proceeded through the cavern. His light was guiding him through the long maze, he was looking around for a place to rest for a while. They came to a wide, open area in the caves and he decided to set up a place to sleep. Jazz opened his skull bag and pulled out a tent-like tarp and put up a shelter. "Judging by the way the light and the bats are becoming active, it must be night out."

"it should be" Bling thought looking up at the ceiling of the big area.
"so diamond? dose that mean your claws can go through almost anything or you can almost not be damage because of your diamond scales? or even both?" Bling asked this all quickly, she was curious and when people say curiosity killed the cat!! she say, I'm not a cat now am I? Bling liked knowledge, knowledge helped you in this world.
"also I owe you one for letting me touch your horns" she smiled grabbing another end of the tarp "Let me help" she smiled sweetly as her eyes sparkled in Jazz's glow.

"Well sure you can help me." He then out stretched his wings and then he popped his neck. "It is usually a pain putting this thing up. However it is not that hard to put this up. I guess it is just that we're in a cave and there is no way I can fly in here." He reached in his bag again and pulled out some meat that he had been keeping in his bag for his dinner. He then threw the meat on a fire that he made from wood from his bag. "You want some or do you prefer vegies?"

"canine so ill take some meat please and thanks for offering" Bling said finishing setting up the tent. she turned to see Jazz's wings out spread. she walked over mesmerized by the glow. she gently put her hand around one then back off shaking her head. "sorry its just the light was so mesmerizing" Bling said siting down beside Jazz "so how old are you?" She asked looking him square in the eyes.

"How old am I?" He then paused and thought for a moment. He couldn't remeber his age for a moment. "I am about 25 Earth years old. Well close anyway. I was around when this place wasn't frozen over and I still am alive." He then shook a little like he felt a chill and then he started again. "My brother, Larius, and I were crossing the mountain range when the world froze over. Being cold blooded reptiles we were frozen immediately, we were stuck in that tomb of ice for a long time. The next thing I can remember is I woke up in a bed next to a fire and my brother was not around. We were saved, or rather I was."
