Darkness. Nothing but darkness surrounded Zeta as he walked through the jagged caves that lie ahead of him. He peered out through the glowing, clear green visor of his night vision headset. It's hard to believe that there would be anything of value on this frozen wasteland of a world let alone a deadly weapon, however, machines don't lie, and my tracker clearly states that the signal is coming from these caves. Still though, it's a wonder the people of this world have not used this thing to end their ice age. I mean, a device meant to destroy worlds via global warming would be just what a planet caught in an ice age needs, provided they only used a small portion of it's power.
Zeta thought to himself as he came ever closer to the signal. It became stronger and stronger as he walked until he had reached the point where the weapon was, however, nothing was standing before him, and the "powerful weapon" was nowhere in site. He then looked down as his feet and saw a small metal device flashing on and of, the tracer.
" Figures, well at least we know why this thing became active. I should contact my team about this event as they will be wondering why I returned without the weapon." Zeta said as he prepared to contact his team via his headset.

Suddenly the entire area Zeta was in shook, a large crack opened up in the cave wall and a jet of steam burst forth, blocking the path ahead, another crack opened in the ceiling, which did they same.
Steam had stopped bellowing from the crack in the wall, dim light poured through. Definately not the surface, this was way too deep. "Security breached, please state your name and ranking." A little tiny sphere floated in front of him, it was cracked, outdated technology maybe? It was projecting an image, but it was incredibly damaged, nothing but colorful static. A slightly faded Megalith symbol on the sides.

" Zeta Viathan, interdimensional investigation agent of the 4th degree and head executive of the Sira branch of Megalith." Zeta said with confidence to the sphere. He had dealt with such security measures before, in fact they where almost commonplace.
So, this area was the right one after all. It's funny how things can come to work out for the better when you least expect them to. Zeta thought to himself as he waited for the machine's response. Then, all of the sudden, something hit him. That voice, it sounded so familiar, it was the voice of a person he had met before. One of the only beings that his "father" had ever showed any compassion to, his mother. It can't be her...but that's her voice, I know it is, but what business would she have on a world like this?Zeta thought to himself.

The sphere blinked. "Accepted, welcome to Gaurdian City, location of Admin Tower Control Systems." It few off into the distance, but instead of hitting the steam, a white light opened up and it went inside. The sight in the distance, was in fact a door, projecting more caves ahead, it opened, pouring light into the cavern.
There was a street ahead, the lighting was dim, but there was street, huge glass and metal buildings lining it, in the distance, there was a tower, but you couldn't see the top, it extended into the darkness above, let up bleakly with red back up lights on the outside.
Then, there was a static sound.
"Do you like going into things that aren't yours? Or finding out about things that don't involve you?" A female voice asked. Light blue eyes blinked behind him, staring down at him blankly. A nine-tailed fox stood there, or had just warped in anyway. Her tone was serious too...

Zeta was utterly surprised to find what he did. He was used to such sites, however he never would think that such a complex existed in this barren cave. The weapon also was still nowhere to be found, but that was the least of Zeta's worries as the voice of his "mother" immediately question him.
" I apoligize ma'am, but I was sent here on a mission by the CEO of the company to find a deadly weapon that may be active. If I have stumbled upon a hidden company project, then I will leave immediately, as I know enough not to meddle in classified affairs." Zeta said to his "mother" as he began to head towards the exit way.

"Leave? Oh, no!" She smiled, stepping in his way. "It's a little late now, it's not a company project, but an old project of mine... A weapon yes, but I want you... too see..." Syra reached down and tapped his head, they were gone in a blink and appeared ina a large room, a huge glass case with small colorful dots floating around it.
"Oh, and no formalities... I don't like it... at all..." She walked over to the container.
"This is a little secret I kept from 'him', he's probably found out by now through..."

Zeta was not all that surprised at the teliportation, however was surprised that his "mother" had been operating on this icy hell of a world . "Ok mom.......Oh and if you don't mind could you please explain to me what exactly this thing dose?" Zeta asked Syra, it was unusual for him to refer to a parent by their parental title, his father always treating him like an employee, but that was the way his mom was, one minute she was the strong CEO, the next minute she was treating him like a baby. It was not just him she dose this with though, but other employees as well, however being her "child" he was the brunt of much of her babying. Zeta was fine with it though, as it made up for the lack or parental love from his father.

She tapped the glass with her claws and smiled darkly. "This, or these little lights... activate the hidden weapon here, they activate..." Syra stopped speaking, at first she seemed to be not willing to speak, but she quickly contiued.
"They activate something special... Me, my full power, but your father hasn't given me the resources to use them yet... I'm a weapon... But I want control..." Her voice got a little angry at the end, but the vibe she was giving off was normal, she turned her head slowly.
"Are you... Okay with that? Zeta?"

" Yes, that's fine, mom. Now, could you please tell me what exactly this thing dose? Oh, and if you know where the Gogalius system is, could you please tell me? I know you are busy here and all, but having your help on the mission would make things a whole lot easer." Zeta asked Syra. He had become used to his "mother's" unstable personality, so to him the sudden "anger" was all to familiar, and he knew that her tone and comments where not a reflection of her true thoughts and feelings.
If she knows where the gogalius system is, then this mission is as good as finished. Perhaps this will be easer then I expected. However, if she dose not know then I have my work cut out for me, but with such a complex here it will not be as difficult. It's actually nice to be greeted by a familiar face in semi-normal surroundings after days on end in this frozen wast. Zeta thought to himself as he waited for Syra's response.

"Heh, even if I know what where it is what makes you think I'd tell anyone? It crashed here right? Must've been a pretty big crater..." She snapped her fingers and the shutters in the room opened, revealing the massive complex outside of the tower.
"This place was originally built inside of a crater, so... I probably do know, since this is the crash site..."

" Well, you would tell me wouldn't you? If not because I am your son, then because my father, your husband, wants this thing back, correct?" Zeta asked Syra. He knew despite her speech she eventually would tell him, it was just a matter of waiting for her erratic personality to shift in the right direction, which usually never takes a long time.

"heheheh, it was moved somewhere else a long time ago... I'm not sure where..." She smiled then looked back at Zeta, and shook her head slowly. "If I knew where it was, I wouldn't tell you or your father the exact location... But I could heeellp... find it, of course... Only if yoou need help." She grinned, her tails flicking softly.

" Well, actually I do need your help." Zeta said to her, it was tough for him to admit defeat, however it was something he needed to do in this situation. With the tracer separated from the device he had absolutely no leads, or ways of finding this thing except his "mother."
"So, could you please lend a hand? He asked Syra, masking the fact that he had admitting his own "defeat."

"Ohhh, fine... I'll help you..." Syra said sadly, beding down and leaning in towards him, smiling, and brushing a hand againest his cheek. "What do you need me to do?"

" Well, since you don't know where it was taken, I need you to help me find a way to locate it. Such as tracing any energy signatures it may give off, or something like that. Also I may need some robotic support as I plan on traveling the world to find it while you check out any leads or energy signatures that may point it out." Zeta said to Syra.
