((I think...I'm actually gonna mess with the description of the fallen village a little. I think I'm gonna go for more icy Farthen-Dur look, if you've ever read Eragon. If not, I'll just describe it a little.))
Blue sky peered down at the snowy village kept safe in the arms of hundred-foot icy walls all around it that curved up a little towards the tops, making a very incomplete dome around the village. But the wide roof was open to the skies above and gentle snow fell down onto the strange canines below. Tattooed dogs of unusual colors and some with flames on their bodies. Several buildings reached skyward, almost modern in make, home to several of the fellhounds, while in the ice walls were caves and tunnels--home to more.
Ty stood in the main square, mostly empty this lazy afternoon. The blue stormhound sat hunched against an unusual statue carved from the ice at the center of the square. It was odd for a primitive society such as the fellhounds to have modern buildings and even art in the form of ice sculptures. But several fellhounds had embraced a more modern lifestyle, and here old and new combined to create a warm sanctuary from the bitter cold.
Ty sighed, craning his head back to look up at the statue--a figure of a galehound in battle. The first galehound, supposedly, a young dog named Storm. Storm...like the stormhounds themselves. Stormhounds had been named after him, some say. But that wasn't what was on Ty's mind. He was looking into the young face, the face of a kid probably not older than ten. And he had run into battle and helped his people take down the Hurricane tribe...
Ty was seven. Wasn't he old enough to at least go out into the world? Gyre kept leaving him behind and once again he was waiting for his dad to return. But when would Ty get to go out, like Storm the hero, and actually do something?

A cheetah suddenly walked up behind Ty, very quickly, like most felines, she was good at sneaking, how'd she get here? Ah, an airship, Gyre and Jet would've seen it before, she had the whole thing taken apart and rebuilt into a more "airship" design, rather than a cruise ship, kinda like a mix between a blimp and a spacecraft, but with no balloon sections, just parts that seem that way.
Aura purred and she stepped next to Ty, her son, most outsiders weren't really welcome here, but she was, technically being an ally of the fellhounds, even if the past seemed to conflict with the whole idea of being an ally. "Whatcha lookin' at?" She asked, knowing that she may startle him, since he didn't know she was here. She had her hands in her pockets, humming an old song to herself, she didn't know the words, just the tune, since it had been years sicne she heard it.
((I love Eragon! And Eldest, I love the detail of the world too, the movie wasn't so great, left out lots of key parts...))

((I tried my best to ignore the book when I watched the movie. The movie still sucked at some parts, but it wasn't as bad that way.))
Ty glanced back over his shoulder up at her. The strange golden feline with black spots, so out of place in this canine sanctuary. But Ty's almost cat-like tail began to wag. Of course it seemed to wag whether he was happy or irritated, right now he was undoubtedly excited, a grin splitting his wolf-like face. "Aura!" He leapt at her, leapt up for a hug around her middle. He tended to call her by name more now than 'mother,' since that's what everyone else called her. "You're here! I've missed ya. Mmmmmh!" he made the strange sound as he gave her a harder hug. "Is dad here too?" Well Gyre got the honor of being called 'dad' it seemed.

Aura didn't have time to be surprised at the sudden hug, she just smile and patted his head slightly, purring. "I saw him around, and said Hello... I'm not sure through... But..." She kneeled down in front of him, he was only seven, so not nearly as tall as she was right now.
'I missed you too, so, what've you been up to? Has your father taken you anywhere yet?" She was always the adventurous type, not caring much for the rules, or survival for that matter, it wasn't adventure if it was safe and easy. It was adventure if it was very dangerous and possibly life threatening!

Ty's tufted ears flattened, the young cub giving a soft frown. "Well, no...he says I'm not ready yet," Ty muttered softly, letting go of Aura and looking down at his feet. "Why aren't I? I'm brave, I'm strong," he whined arrogantly. Then he seemed to realize he was whining because he sighed and stopped, looking up at Aura again with hunched shoulders. "Sorry..."
As it turned out, Gyre was finally coming home. The black-furred galehound had just arrived through the top, actually, his winds easily helping him down without too much difficulty. Now the fellhound could be seen approaching from a distance, waving to Ty and Aura to get their attention.
Ty noticed and smirked, his spirits picking up immediately. "Dad!" he called, waving back. "Heh, well maybe he at least got me something," he whispered to Aura.

Aura whispered back to him. "Hopefully, if not, I'll just have to give you more of the stuff I brought along." She always collected cool stuff, treasures from all over, her mansion was full of it, even Gyre knew that, she waved up to him, smiling. But that didn't make her any happier, she'd come here hoping Jet would be here. She wanted to talk to him.
"Took you long enough!"

Ty's ears perked and he grinned. "What, what?" he asked Aura hyperly, Gyre apparently forgotten. "What'd'ya have?" He wasn't greedy, but he was excitible. He wasn't even jumping in her face or anything--he calmly took a step back to give her room, waiting expectantly, hopefully. He turned once towards Gyre as he approached, the galehound putting his loving arms around his son. Ty swallowed his excitement and hugged Gyre tightly back. "Missed ya dad."
"Missed ya too kid."
"Do you...think I can go next time?"
Gyre just shook his head and looked up at Aura. "Hey, girl. What you doing here?"

"Just stopping Bye, wanted to see you two." She smiled and turned back to Ty, and reached into her jacket, searching. "Let's see... Ah!" She pulled out some sort of Triangle like thing, having a bunch of markings all over, her runes, it was made of gold, and was attached to a silver necklace.
"You need something nice to wear, so, why not treasure? The rest is back at my ship."
Normally, Aura wouldn't take her ship here, she'd just walk and whenvever she traveled with her airship, it'd be hidden somewhere.

Ty grinned wide and gingerly took the odd necklace. Hmm...now the real question. Was it a guy's necklace or a girl's? Evidently Ty figured on the former because he put it on promptly. "Thanks. Your ship is here?" Ty had been in it once. Or at least...he thought he had been. It was a long time ago, he didn't know exactly how long, and he didn't know how much of the memory was real and how much was fabricated.
Gyre flicked his ears back, watching Aura carefully. He could already guess why she was really here. She was coming more and more and clearly not for the galehound. "Hey uh...Ty, why don't you go over there for a sec?" Gyre jerked his head towards a small shop with nothing of interest really.
"Huh? Oh..." Ty was used to getting brushed off around these two. He nodded and shrugged, walking off, fingering the new piece of treasure around his neck.
Gyre waited until Ty went into the store he faced Aura again. "Looking for Jet?" he asked knowingly.

Aura sighed and nodded. "Yeah... I was hoping he'd be here, i Looked around but I didn't see him..." She lowered her head and stared at the ground sadly. She didn't know what to do, had she lost Jet already? "I don't want to lose him... I never mean't to... to..."

((Oh...my...freaking...gosh...I just realized I forgot something MASSIVE! Gyre was supposed to have a bad eye still on this site! AH! How the heck did I forget?! AAAAHHH! *bashes head to the ground* Curse my lack of decent memory! Oh well...fixing it now.))
Gyre listened with a stone face, good eye a little hard. He didn't mean to be harsh. But he wondered if Aura knew exactly what she was doing to Jet. If she'd just married one and forgotten the other they would have been fine. But...instead she lied and cheated and betrayed, to both of them. Not that she meant it...but that didn't change the fact that it was true.
"Never meant to have that kid over there?" Gyre asked a little sharply. He resented it when Aura talked like this. Ty was the best thing that had ever happened to him. And he often wondered just how close Aura had been to abortion... Again, resentment rose up in his throat like acid. But it didn't show on his face. "I think Jet's in the underground tunnels. They need flamehounds to melt the ice, and Jet's with 'em. But I don't know...that he's missing you as much as you are him."

Aura shook her head. "It's not Ty... I just wish... I could've made a choice, sooner... Just after Sky Corp... Instead of waiting..." She turned, and started walking. "I'll be right back!" She jumped, flying over a building with the use of her abilites, she was alot stronger now, alot faster too.
The tunnels were indeed hot, thankfully through the heat only did so much, and didn't flood the tunnels or destroy the ice completely, she walked down them, avoiding those around her, through it didn't really matter. She was welcome here. Aura glanced at each flamehound she passed, hoping to see Jet among them. "Where... are... you...?"

((Shukko, from now on it is your job to make sure I don't randomly forget major things like missing eyes! Heh, just kidding, but still...I'm amazed I forgot that. Speaking of, I fell bad for Gyre right now...))
Gyre watched her go, his ears back. "Of course you will," he muttered. And he turned up the street to go find his son.
Inside the tunnels it was hot, yes, but with drafts of cold since the entire place was filled with ice and water and fire and the occasional wild draft of wind created by galehounds to send the excess water flooding into the right tunnels. The air was thick with steam, and it was humid, and difficult to make out the shapes of fellhounds other than their glowing runes and their flames, or maybe a glimpse of a galehound sweeping away the mist. They were shouting to each other, shouting orders, though it really wasn't as though someone was in charge here.
Suddenly one of the galehounds stepped right in front of Aura. "Ho, there, missy! Watch your step! I nearly sent water cascading over ya! And I doubt that'd be very good for your health." The winds swept up around him, the grinning white-furred face and narrowed blue eyes looking her over. "Hey....you're Aura, right? Yea, I know you. You're looking for Jet? He's just 'round that bend. Careful though. He's blasting fire at the moment. Best shout to him when you go, so's he knows you're there."
And indeed, the black flamehound was there. His shirt was off, and flames coursed down his spine. His fur was wet with sweat, and flames wrapped around the usual places. The entire tunnel system shook as he shot out a ball of flames at the wall of ice before him. Water was streaming off it and a galehound behind him was helping to keep the water moving out of the area, down the tunnels that worked as drains into the ocean.

Aura nodded and stopped a little bit away from Jet, even through it was loud, she had a way of making people hear her, after all, she could control the wind so she could let her voice travel through the air all over the place. She sighed, how would he react to her?
"Hey! Jet!!" She shouted, taking a few steps towards him and the galehound. "Next some help?" She called, coming up right behind the two, she was talking to both of them this time.
((I'll remind you about character details like that next time, don't worry, and yeah... I kinda feel bad for him too...))

Jet paused in what he was doing, doubled over with his hands on his knees, taking in deep, deep breaths. He'd been working longer and harder than any of the others, barely slept. His fur was covered in soot, though you couldn't tell due to the fact that his fur was already ink-black. His eyes were closed for several minutes as he felt the water around him being pulled away by the galehound. He'd heard the voice, but...well frankly he was exhausted. He didn't think he could deal with that right now.
But slowly he straightened and opened his narrowed blue eyes, watery and red around the edges from the strain of the darkness down here mixed with the sudden flashes of light from flames, and the smoke and the steam and the heat. If he kept this up he'd start going blind, but whatever. The fellhound was still breathing harshly as he looked Aura over. He couldn't decide whether to be happy she was here and sweep her up and hug her, or if he should spit in her face and stalk away. The result of the clashing emotions was...well, he found himself feeling oddly nothing upon seeing her. "Oh. Hey, Aura," he said his voice hoarse from the smoke and the lack of oxygen down here due to the fires constantly burning it up.
"Yea, we could sure use your help! Or I could!" said the galehound--a dark gray female with wild curly black hair. "Or I could at any rate. This guy moves too fast for me." She summoned another rush of wind--not easy to do in a cavern cut off from the natural air currents outside--and sent another wave down into a drain hole.
