"No, miss, I'm not a rat. I'm a hedgehog. Whasamatter, you blind?" His eyes darkened, then went near white with heat as he burst into flames, the tongues of bright fire licking up and down his skin and clothes with the intensity of an inferno but leaving them intact. "Can ya see me now, b*tch?"
Warp yelped at the sudden heat. It felt like it was suddenly a hundred degrees! Well, with all that fire, it actually could be. Air pressure shifted with the sudden warmth, as the hot air generated by the fire rose. This created an area of low pressure, making the air around rush in as an icy gust of wind, which was then heated and sent up as well, perpetuating the cycle. The fox shivered dispite the conflagration-consumed hedgehog as the wind tore through his clothes and caressed his skin. It was an odd combination of hot and cold that left him momentarily confused.
Scorch took a step closer to Relka, ice and snow melting around and above him, only to evaporate into the air and crystallize as soon as it was out of the range of his power. "I think you owe me an apology." Bringing his hands up in front of him, he cracked his knuckles loudly.

Relka's expression changed, but she wasn't phased by his fire abilites, she'd been through people alot stronger than him and seen alot worse than that. Her clothes were battered by the strong winds, but she didn't care, she just smiled widely and started laughing.
"Fire? Your going to hurt me with fire? Ha! Your too young and weak! If you were a master at it, maybe... You could hurt me..." The bracelet around her wrist started spinning and getting wider, breaking into large sections that spun around her wrist. A white light charging in her hand. "Let's see... I wonder if Rat's can feel pain..." There was a sudden boom, and several beams spinning out in wild patterns launched towards Scorch.

Martial arts reflexes were a good thing. Scorch leapt aside, landing with a roll and flash-steaming the ice he landed on. Smoothly, he rose to his feet and swept his arm across, launching a sheet of flaming bolts, on of which caught Warp in the chest just as he got over his confusion.
The fox fell back with another yelp. Luckily, he turned as he fell, landing on his chest and smothering the flames that burned his clothes against the ice, which melted, helping to soothe the burn.
Scorch didn't stop there. "F*ckin' b*tch. You don't know the kind of sh*t you're in." The pyro reached into his inner jacket pocket and introduced a friend very close to his heart. A little down and to the right, to be exact. With this friend, he made several profound arguements in the form of bullets.

Relka just stood there, little bullet holes punched into her stomach and left arm, she glanced down, blood slowly trickling out. She laughed, wiping some of her blood with her finger and pulling it up in front of her face. "That's it? Aww, the poor little baby... You can't hurt the big kitty with that..." A little jet of steam came from her right wrist, and a small silver weapon came out, filled with little red cones.
"Try some missiles... You little insignifigant rat..." She raised her arm and fired, just once, purposely trying to miss Scorch as the missile was aimed for the ground just a little in front of him to send him flying backwards.
She glanced down after she fired, there was pain, her clothes had holes burned in them, and her skin had been fried just on the other side of those holes, the burns covered in blood, it actually hurt. He hit places that weren't protected by her metal skin and that certainly p*ss*d her off. "You'll pay..." She hissed, her tail lashing wildly.

Scorch didn't hear that particular witty rejoinder, blinking dust out of his eyes and hoping his ears stopped ringing. The flames from the explosion hadn't hurt him any, but the force was easily enough to send him somewhere he had no previous intention of achieving. So. It seemed she also had an advocate, and not with any simple arguements, either.
Slowly, he began to push his way up, and he felt a bit giddy as his vision suddenly failed and his balance deserted him. Somehow, he stayed on his feet, and his eyesight cleared enough to see by at the same time his ears stopped ringing. He was still on fire, though, and not exactly pleased at having been thwarted. So the gun was useless. Okay. he tossed it aside, noting as he did so that the explosion had rendered it completely useless, anyway.
But the fire darts had done something. He could still see the smoke. "You take 'freak' to a whole new dimension. Little kitty's barely shown his claws." To prove that he meant what he said, he turned up the heat even farther, allowing the flames to grow to an unbearable intensity.
At least, unbearable to Warp. The fox, standing slowly, noticed the head, and began sweating immediately. It was under zero degrees out, but he had on only a light jacket, a pair of jeans, and a shirt with a hole in the front. And he felt like he was going to pass out.
To Relka's internal sensors, the temperature of the air, even standing some ten yards from Scorch and the pile of rubble he stood upon, was one-hundred seventeen degrees, farenhiet. It was off by about ten degrees. There was no way it was that cool. Then scorch simply held out a hand, palm towards Relka, and with a bright flash, launched a flaming ball at her.
Warp didn't bother to wait. This was already going to far, even if it was Relka's fight. If she got hit by that ball.... Well, missiles exploded, and she had missiles in her arm. He didn't know if the fire would trip them, and he didn't know if she could get out of the way. But he did know he could make sure she was out of the way and the missiles didn't blow. His eyes swelled with black specks, swimming across orbs of green. He was gone, then reappeared reaching out a hand to touch Relka's shoulder before once again disappearing, this time along with her, and reappearing about five yards away from point of impact.
The trip was interesting, to say the least. Everything was so loud is was silent, so grey the colors blinded, so bright there was no light, and nothing made sense, which, of course, meant you understood everything deeply. A whole ten seconds in that la-dee-da land, and they were back where they started. Sort of. There was the 'not getting shot at with fire' part, too.

Relka dropped to one knee, not prepared for what had happened at all. She had been through hundreds of teleportation machines, even machines that converted matter and warped things to other dimensions, but she had always been prepared then. She glared up at Warp, growling. "You idiot!! I could've handeled that! I've fought entire armies, killed hundreds of people, even taken down an airship! I can handle someone like him!"
She turned away, looking in Scorch's direction, she didn't care about Warp really. He could die for all she cared, but she hated it when people got in the way. "You're lucky I'm not going to kill you too..."

Warp gave Relka a look, then said, "Many pardons, mistress, for my interference." The sarcasme he used was so strong it dripped from his mouth to crawl over and rub itself against her leg. He then rolled his eyes and warped about four yards away.
Scorch noted this ability to teleport at will. Well. He might actually be more of a problem than previously thought. The hedgehog shifted his aim, launching a blast at Warp. The fox noticed, and warped ten feet upward. Scorch tracked, fired, tracked, fired, launching wave after wave of fire, while Warp just kept getting out of the way. But he was getting tired, too.
He could try going on the offensive, but the problem was he didn't have a weapon, and punching a guy covered in fire wasn't exactly a top-notch battle winner. So, he basically just Blindside Blitzed his way around the attacks, waiting for Relka to do something.
Unless she found this entertaining. She wasn't the first of this kind of person he had met. True, the most thourogh b*tch, but not the first. But if she didn't do anything, he would just leave and let her take care of things.
((Which would mean we would not find out about the Data Drain and the warping.))

((Oh, she won't do that to Warp, not this time anyway, she'll only do something like that after the first meeting.))
Relka rolled her eyes, and growled slowly walking towards Warp and Scorch. Atleast the fox managed to take this guy's attention away from her, that would help, even through she didn't want the kid's help in the first place. She didn't need help from him.
"Hopefully that kid can dodge..." She raised both her arms slowly, one for the missile launcher and out of her other wrist a small machine gun stretched out, and they both fired. The gun didn't stop shooting as she got closer, and Relka was making sure that she was aiming directly at Scorch, not Warp, as for the missiles she only fired two, but they wouldn't explode from the heat. Her missiles were special, they would explode on impact. But she wasn't aiming for the hedgehog, she was aiming for the area around him to hurt him with the flying chunks of ground and whatever was hit, she never liked to kill her victims.
Then, she stopped firing, her weapons retracting and the bracelet around her arm expanding and charging up energy. That kid better move quick... She spun around then released the energy, sending seveal colorful arrow like beams whipping in random uncontrollable directions towards Warp and Scorch.

"OH SWEET LORD SON OF A B*TCH!" Warp disappeared as a beam of light lanced towards him, sending him skidding away about twelve meters to Relka's left. He turned his head to watch the two missiles jet their way towards Scorch. The hedgehog was already injured; he could see bleeding from his right shoulder and left leg in two places. Her wild firing got him at least that far.
Scorch wasn't an idiot. There had to be some reason she was firing those missiles, and he could tell they weren't going to hit him. However, splash damage was nothing to sniff at. Sweeping his arm across horizontally, the hedgehog launched a wave of flaming darts, trying to blow the missiles out of the air. He managed to hit one, but the other one got through, exploding to his left as he dove right. His fire went out as he got it in the head from a chunk of sidewalk, and he struggled to stand.
That was Warp's cue. He warped in, barely visible as he pulled a Blindside Blitz. Maybe he should have waited to see if Relka had anything else she was going to do....
((Data drain tiem.))

"You're not worth torturing you useless rat, I'm going to have to finish you off... Hehehehehe..." She charged some energy again, this time you could hear loud cracking noises and static like on a TV or a computer, everything around Relka seemed to go blurry for a long moment. Several flashes of white and purple came from her body, then...
She ran forward, the dark gray she-cat didn't care if Warp was in the way or not. If he got hit it wasn't her problem, she'd probably just have to deal with his whining as it'd hurt, feel like it was tearing at his flesh and soul, even through the attack wouldn't cause bleeding, or even a single bruise.
She swung her arm forward and released it, five huge beams shooting towards them, much bigger than the ones she had fired before, even bright in color and much faster. "Die you insignifigant rat!!"

Scorch managed a glance at Relka as his pummeling was ensuing, noting the beams. Well, f*ck.
The beams struck, catching Warp in the crossfire while he was initiating a shift.
Scorch's body contorted as he screamed. Oh, that hurt like nothing else. It felt like something was clawing at his very being, breaking his soul into fragments. The hedgehog fell, reflexively bursting into flames and rolling in agony.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Something was wrong. Something was very wrong. The spatial/temporal pocket was never like this. Everything was wierd all the time. Well, this was still wierd, but it was never wierd like this before. Everything around him was numbers. Nothing but numbers. All ones and zeros. Like it was all code. And he should have left by now, but he couldn't. He tried, but couldn't.
Meanwhile, an all new data stream entered Relka's conciousness. A stream of quantum physics calculations, combined with basic TDR formulae, all asking for her to add a single variable. Any number. Whatever number she wanted. But the solution, and the effects, were displayed as ERROR/UNDEFINED.

Relka dropped to her knees, grabbing the side of her head with her hands, this hurt, she hated math, numbers, anything! Even science, and she hated dealing with it in her mind. Of course, she didn't really care about what to varible to add, it didn't matter to the cat as long as she didn't have to deal with the f*ck*ng numbers, and the varible she chose, it was four.
It didn't matter to her what the results were, she didn't bother to read over the data at all, even through she knew she'd understand it if she did. "Get out of my head..." She glanced around, the pain had stopped, etheir from firing off those beams or all the big words and numbers and symbols in her head, she understood them all, she just didn't want to read them.
Relka glanced up towards Scorch and laughed. "Little rat got what he deserved..."

Warp reappeared twelve feet away. "Variable of four? What the h*ll was that...?" The calculations dissapeared from Relka's mind as Warp began to wobble. His mouth began to make a small string of syllables that really when nowhere before he finally said, "F*ck," and fell to the ground with a thud.
Scorch's scream faded, and he lay with his eyes wide. That was something he never wanted to deal with again. Oh, man, that was way too much. His being, his very soul, desecrated. Yeah, he was going to kill her, but he'd have to take her by surprise next time. As it was, he was not in shape for a fight anymore.
SCrambling to his feet, Scorch took off, extinguishing his fire to make him less visible and running as fast as he could.
