Koh took a deep breath as he looked down over the edge of the building atop which he stood. It was a few stories above most of the other buildings in the area, and thus, gave a much better view of the area. As he psyched himself up for the ride that was to come he could see every tense, excited breath he took puff into the air like smoke and then quickly dissipate from the cold. He then zipped up his trench coat, not something that he often did, but with the task at hand and the bracing bitter cold, he made an exception this time.
He pulled a pair of green goggles with purple lenses and a brown leather strap from his left hip pocket ofhis trench coat and slipped them on, making sure they were tightly secured as he pulled them over his eyes and adjusted them to fit comfortably but snuggly. He was new to airboarding, so most would think he couldn't make it down.....but Koh had confidence in his abilities.
The checked the board at his feet to make sure it wasn't damaged from his run yesterday. After he was sure it was still in good condition he hopped onto the edge of the building and prepared to take the plunge.

A yelp sounded from above Koh as a fox appeared. He had time to look down before gravity's pull began to accelerate him downward, and he yelped again. Warp really had to start thinking before he warped. Really, even being chased, he should have known better than to leap before he looked.
And so, here he was, falling downward, and he would have warped down to the ground if he didn't clip the lip of the roof on his way down and black out. The sudden rotation the contact caused, in addition to the gee-forces of the fall, completely blanked him, and, unconcious, he continued to plummet in a twisting free-fall, tumbling through the frigid air towards the icy floor below.

Koh was very tense and about to jump off when he heard a yelp from above break the silence of the nearly deserted metropolitan area. He quickly jerked his head back and raised his gaze to see the fox falling down by him rather quickly. Koh winced as he saw the fox smack the edge of the building.
Ah......Crap. I betteh 'elp this bloke out. Koh thinks as he steps off of the edge and begins rushing down the side of the building at top speed on his board in hopes of catching the unconscious fox. "You ol'right, mate?" Koh's voice echoed loudly in between the frozen statues that used to be establishments of trade and profit.
He bent his knees and let his arms swing back behind him, hoping to gain some speed from his more aerodynamic stance so he could catch up with the fox before he hit the ground. Gah! If I try to focus and grab him telekinetically I migh' lose my balance and crash. Then we'd both be in a right state. Oh well.....it's the only sho' I've go' to save that bloke. I can't let 'im die like this.
Koh closes his eyes and focuses his mind, hoping and praying that he won't hit a random windowsil or go off the side of the building and lose his way, causing him to crash. As he focuses he would try to grab the fox telekenetically and pull him to his grasp. If this worked, the fox would be safe and Koh would ride the rest of the way down smoothly to a safe landing so he could better check the fox over and make sure he was still alive.

Warp's eyes slowly opened. "Uhn.... Wha.... OW SUNOVAB*CH! My head!" Warp reached up a hand to clutch his skull as his eyes focused. "Oh. That's worse than my head." Feeling an odd tug, the fox examined his surroundings, then noticed Koh. Well, he didn't have any rope or anything. "Hey, bro, you pullin' me in? Alright, that works." Must be some kinda superpower. Cripes. Everyone and their grandma had one nowadays.
His other hand extended out toward Koh, lending his own will to Koh's telekenetic attempt. If whatever he's doing works through the mind, then that means that it has to do with the mindset of the user and the... victim? Yeah, whatever. That means, if I surrender to it, it should work even better.... Whether it was aided or not, Warp was guided into Koh's grasp. "Alright. That fall's not looking appetizing. Let's do.... this."
A flurry of black specks flew across the fox's emerald-green eyes, and both Warp and Koh were thrown into a trans-dimensional section of nonspace, where everything was so loud it was silent, so colorful it was grey, so complex it was simple, so confusing it was clear. After only a tenth of a second that lasted forever in that maddening place, there was a pulling sensation from inside and outside of both the fox and the echidna, and they were suddenly at the ground, standing there as if the fall had never happened.
"Thanks for the save, I suppose, bro. Name's Warp." He extended his hand to be shaken.

Koh's eyes remained closed until he heard the voice of the fox break the silence once more. By the time his eyes opened to see what was going on, He and the fox had already gone through the strange dimensional space and were now standing on the ground. he took a deep, relaxed breath and looked around.
Koh sized up the being standing in front of him and extended his own hand to shake. As they shook Koh would reply, "Name's Koh. It's thanks enough tha' yer safe, mate. No good 'avin someone splattered all over the ground, eh?" Koh chuckled slightly as he finished his rhetorical question. He pulled his hand back after they finished shaking and spoke once more, "Wot was tha' crazy place we wen' to? I blinked and i' was gone."
Crazy, tha' was. Wandeh wha' this guy was doin' fallin' ou'a nowhere like tha'. Tha' insane place we wen' to befo'e we appea'ed 'ere........wot was i'?

Warp tilted his head as he released Koh's hand, adjusting his flannel shirtand jamming his hands into his pockets as he thought. Well, there was the really complicated version that hurt heads and there was the other version. First, he'd see how smart the guy was. "The best way that I know how to describe it is a trans-dimensional, non-spacial rift leading into a pocket in the time-space continuum which instantly returns you to the dimension you origionated from. Normally, the pocket puts you back where you started to keep a balance, but I'm a living space-time anomaly, that is, I interrupt the continuum as I see fit so far as relation to space, but not time, allowing me to shift what space I occupy without bothering with the intervening time. That also means I can't travel through time, though."
Warp carefully kept his eyes on Koh to see how this was all registering. "Or, I guess you could say that place was just a place to be while we weren't here. We have to take up some space, or else we'll collapse on ourselves and die, or else scatter as atoms to the farthest reaches of the cosmos."

Koh raised his left hand to his chin as he raised his left brow to the strange and almost unbelievable explanation of what had just happened. After the fox finished he replied, "Heh, anomaly, eh? You're qui'e the characteh. I can undehstand wot ya mean, though. Put simply yeh can telepor' wherever you want in the curren' time, but you can't teleport through time itself to be in the past or the futu'e, righ'?" Koh wanted to make sure he'd actually understood the words of Warp as well as he thought he did. Either way it was an interesting ability to have....to be able to transend space at a whim like that. It could really come in handy.
"Yeh don't look the type to be flying through the air like that, so why'd yeh jus' appea' ou'a nowhe'e like tha' and fall from the sky? Yeh runnin' from somefin?" Koh asked, removing the straps of his board from his feet and then restrapping it onto his back so he could carry it much easier. he then crossed his arms and waited for an explanation.

A small camera watched the outside of the building. The person watching the camera wasn't really looking for anything, just looking. So, when two people who weren't there before suddenly appeared, it was something very interesting. There were no audio sensors outside the building, so what was being said couldn't be heard. The person was interested, though, and began contemplating a way to have their company for a while. The doors closest to the pair opened, invitingly.

Warp opened his mouth to reply when suddenly the doors neaby opened. His fur tried to stand on end as he flinched away from the sudden movement. "Cripes! What.... huh?" The fox's head tilted curiously as he studied the doorframe, looking for some reason as to why it had opened. Turning his head slightly back towards Koh, but still keeping a suspicious eye on the door. "That door just scared the absolute crap outta me. Yeah, teleporting, basically. I always called it warping. 'Swhere I got my name, y'see. Hang on, back in a bit." Having said this, his eyes clouded over with black specks before he teleported into the building, just to the right of the door and looking across to try and find a prankster. Not seeing one, Warp stepped back into Koh's field of vision. "Hey, man, it's warm in here. Well, not really, but better than out there."

Koh turned quickly to the opened door and raised his left brow once again, "Eh?" He then turned back to the fox, not really paying much attention to the door. Hearing the Fox's words yet again, Koh was now assured that his assumptions of uncerstanding were correct. He had, for the most part, been able to compute what Warp had said after all.
He saw that Warp had disappeared and wondered where he'd gone. Just moments after he saw that Warp had went into the building to check for any signs of life. He nodded after hearing Warp say it was warmer inside and quickly jogged into the building. "Anyway, a'e yeh runnin' from somefin or not? Yeh neve' answe'ed meh." He said as they both continued just a bit further into the building to escape the freezing winds that entered from the open door.

The doors slid shut after the two had entered, blocking the cold from entering. "Hello." A voice sounded from the speakers near them. "I welcome you to the skyscraper known as XS-100-SS. My name is Berry. I trust you find the temperature somewhat comfortable? If not, I could seal off several more floors to try to make it so. It is a little difficult with so little power. Would you stay and chat?" The voice was young, and definately feminine.

Warp again opened his mouth to reply, and got as far as, "No, that's just how I get-" before he was cut off by the doors closing and the voice speaking. "Where are you? Quit playing games!" His eyes flicked over to Koh. If this was some kind of trap, Koh was his responsibility; he was the one who convinced the echidna to come inside.
No, no, Warp had to clear his head. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. Koh probably had something to say, as well, and they did deserve an explaination, so he would settle for simeply muttering a few explatives under his breath. If worst came to worst, he could always just....
Suddenly, his head felt like it had been hit with a hammer. Giving a hiss as he gasped, Warp clutched his skull with both hands and shut his eyes tight in a grimace. Warping did have a bit of a toll on him, but not so much unless he used a Blindside Blitz, some twenty warps in two seconds, each with a punch or a kick landed on his opponent. However....
He did hit his head on the skyscraper, and had blacked out from gee forces as well. It could be that warping was taking more of a toll than it should. If that was the case, even one more might kill him. Son of a b*tch, I'm at this chick's mercy....

As the voice from the comm system spoke Koh gave a quaint smirk and then placed his index and middle fingers from his right hand to his forehead, focusing his mind to see if there was an organic sentient life form in the area. If the being in question wasn't entirely a machine and they weren't at the top of this large sky scraper, then Koh would be able to find the brain waves from their mental activity and locate them exactly.
"No worries, mate. If it's an actual pe'son they can't hide from me." Koh explained to the fox, quikly resuming his search after he finished speaking. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, focusing harder and harder as he searched. If the being in question was around, he would find them. From what they'd said about sealing off more floors around the ones they were already on, it seemed as though the person was nearby. Koh wouldn't know for sure until he found them, though.
OOC:If Berry is within ten floors of Koh and Warp, he'll be able to find her assuming she isn't a robot. If this is true then just put that she feels an unfamiliar presence entering her mind and then quickly leaving. If she's a robot, then he couldn't sense her brain waves and you're in the clear.

Berry felt someting unfamiliar at the back of her mind, but ignored it, as it soon went away. "There's an elevator to your left, along with stairs if you don't trust the elevator. If you do take the stairs, you'll want to stop at the 31st floor. That's the lounge, and that's where I am. There are couches and chairs as well, though you'll have to watch out for the ferrets." With that, the elevator dinged, signaling that it was there, though the doors didn't open.

Warp did not respond. His head was throbbing, driving out all other stimulae. He leaned against a wall, sliding to the floor and grinding his teeth. His head had never hurt quite so much. His eyes opened a bit, one tear making its way through his cheek fur as he heard the elevator ding. "Pain killer. Heavy duty."
One hand came away from his head and went to the floor, helping him to stand again as he pushed his way back up the wall. Taking a tentative step, then another, Warp made his way to the elevator. If this Berry didn't want him leaving, he couldn't get out, so he might as well toss the dice and hope.
