The air seemed to fizzle for a split second, then suddenly became a pair of mobians, standing at the foot of the Crystal Tower. The fox's breath caught; it really was a beautiful sight. His eyes slipped over to the bunny-wolf hybrid next to him, wondering how she was reacting.
Warp's mind flicked back over the events of the past ten minutes. He showed up at the Black Market and saved the ungrateful girl from a group of thugs; she then proceeded to insult him, order him around, and, true to female fashion, confuse the living sap out of him with kind words and a hug at the end of it all.
The fox sighed. Nobody would ever figure out girls. Give scientists ten millennia, unlimited test subjects, infinite funds, and top-notch tech, and all they'd be able to figure out is that sometimes, the girls are nice to you, and sometimes, they really aren't. Which is about all Warp knew already.
He began trying to disengage his hand from Whisper's metallic hand discreetely. Well, okay, it was conspicuously inconspicuous, but it was as close to discreet as Warp could get. He just hoped she wasn't mad at him for not wanting to hold hands with a total psycho.

Total phsyco indeed, Whisp let go instantly, a wave of warmth spreading through her stomach as she closed her eyes and rested her head on her shoulder looking at the beatiful tower. Her armwarms rolled down to her elbows asshe laced her fingers together hands laced and rested at her waist, right above her fluffy tail.
Whisper smiled lightly, and wondered forward, fingertips skimming across the crystalline glass. Light filtered through the ice, colors shining through the glass and onto the icy ground. She suddenly thought to David as her blue eyes wondered to the ice around them. She licked her lips, sniffing as she lifted her arms and crossed them.
"So, you planning on leaving me now, Warp, people to see, places to be?" She chuckeld softly, and sucked air in, letting out a soft mist of carbon dioxide. The buolf shifted her weight and leaned her head forward, thoughts filling her head. A thin smiled played on her lips as she backed up, very steathily, well as steathily as you could in plain sight.
She waited a whole three seconds as she stopped behind the fox and dashed forward, flying forward as she bounced, intending to...lightly....glomp the probably suspecting fox. Whisper guessed she would be landing in the snow and crassing somewhere in the next ten seconds or so.

Warp sighed, looked away, and was about to answer when he was tackled. "GWAH!" Indeed, they crashed to the ground, Whisper landing on top of Warp. He said the first thing that came to his mind. "Gee, you sure like awkward situations, don't you?" His mouth was less than an inch from hers the way they had landed.
Nothing but awkward and strange from the moment he'd met her, what with her shiny hands and rusty-tail complaints, her mood swings, everything. Girls were so weird. And it just so happened that this particular girl was making him very uncomfortable. Apparently the rust was not the only metallic characteristic she had. She also seemed to be physically denser, packing more matter into a small space, that is, she was heavier than she looked. A lot heavier. That interesting part of his brain that made idle speculations during critical situations said told him, I bet she's really, really sensitive about her weight.
While she wasn't really crushing him, it was still somewhat unpleasant, and his breathing was slightly inhibited. He saved his breath for breathing, not saying anything more until he could say so with a full lung. That was supposing she got off immediately.

Whisp smiled down at Warp and suddenly stuck out her tongue and rolled off of him, the buolf lay atleast two feet away from him, blue eyes half closed. Of course she was heavy, she never really noticed it, though. Metal was heavy, so it was natural for her to be dense, there had been many times where she had broken a few ribs by...lightly...glomping someone.
Whisper sighed lightly again, another puff of gray smoke escaping her mouth as she cushioned her head against the snow with her hands. She lost her playful mood as she looked up to the pale, almost white sky. Bright blue eyes seemed to visibly dim as she spoke softly," The sky is as white as the snow that falls from the clouds. It's a cold day in hell..." Her voice was meak, her tone was quieter than its usually high pitched, frisky tone. Whisper got up, snow falling off her back in chunks as she grasped both arms, hooking her elbows around her knees.
Whisper's breath was warm on her fur as her facial expression turned sad and thoughtful, strands of brown hair falling form the black goggle strap and into her face as the weight of her head rested on her shoulder, bunny tail twitching restlessly. Whisp truely was a phsyco, happy and playful and suddenly sad and quiet. Her thoughts turned to Warp for a moment, odd shaped ears twitching towards the sky byfor she looked away. Her thoughts played at the edge of he rmind, where she couldn't reach them, like something dancing right out of the edge of your sight.
Silence. As cold as the snow and unsettling. The buolf soon grew restless and switched posistions, so she stood up, stretching her legs and bouncing about the snowy landscape. Constant movement was needed to keep warm, even with her shaggy fur. "'Nyways!" She said, her spirits lifting a bit as she regained her energy," So are you gonna answer, or do I have to knock it out of ya?' Whisper made a threatening movement by jumping, arms spread, claws out, seeming to fly through the air again, before she landed justa couple of inches away from him, a semi crazysmile on her face, brow cocked. Her wolfish teeth revealed as well as the tell-tale half way to buck teeth at the frunt of her smile. People have found out the hard way whata tool of mass chaos and destruction teeth could be.

Warp sighed in relief as Whisp rolled away. He then breathed in through his nose again. She smelled kinda good. He had just recovered and was about to get up when suddenly she was all claws and teeth flying straight at him again. He yelped and fell back, shouting, "What the crap is going on?" Slowly raising to a sitting position again, he shot her a semi-playful glare. "You are the most confusing person I have ever known and I know a lot of people."
Then, slowly getting back to his feet, he looked away, then back to the tower, then a quick glance to Whisp before shooting back to the tower. "I dunno. Is there any reason you don't want me to?" His hands found their way into his pockets, and a slight gust of wind made his jacket wave around. The question that he was trying to answer to himself while he stalled for time was, Do I want to?

Whisp waved her hand dissmissively, turning away and walking away. "Yea, yea, I've heard it all before, sweetheart," she replied teasingly. She laughed softly and waved again," It's your choice if ya want to or not, a human will, or perhaps mobious will is will itself, is it not?" She chuckled softly. (Ahhh... Shorty, I can't think of anything.)

He kept stalling. "You make it sound like there's something you want. Either to say, or to do, or something else, but the way you said 'are you gonna leave me' made it sound a bit more personal." He turned his head, noted her walking away, then sighed. He breathed through his nose again, silently inhaling the dregs of her scent. She really smelled good.
"Or are you just stalling me?" He knew that was a mistake as soon as he said it. She wasn't stalling him, and she knew it. There was no way she didn't. Girls always knew. He didn't know how but they did. He was pretty sure they could just read his mind. He hoped she didn't know he thought she smelled pretty. Might make her think he was creepy.

Whisp closed her eyes. The buolf made a quizzical face, her cheek stretching to the side as her lips pursed, pulling her mouth to the side. Her brown fur ruffled a bit as she started to answer, but her ears seemed to vibrate in the air as she caught his last comment.
She sniffed, almost offended by his comment. "...Mebe I was... I Grrr! Stalling pff! St-stalling y-you? Y-you 'ink yer funny? Huh, huh? Oh, y-you think yer funny. B-but you're not, heh....keh..erk..." Whisp made odd sounds as she fumed in her own weird little way, brow furrowed as she closed her eyes and stomped around before she breathed out and looked up, defiant fire burning in those blue hues.
"I...I don't like being by myself." Whisp said quietly, embaressed that her weakness was showing through. Red skin underneath her fur showed clearly as those blue hues looked away, blush, nonetheless. Whisperhunched over, shoulders raised to her jaw as she avoided the fox's gaze. The buolf turned away, hands clenched into tight furry fists.

Warp's ears flicked. "Oh. So you have someone coming for you?" You should just go and let her take care of herself. She can. You've seen it. "I guess waiting an hour or two couldn't hurt." Yes, it could. It really, really could. "You ever been inside?" Here he indicated the tower with a tilt of his head.
Aaaand you're volunteering to spend more time with the violent psycho who will ten to one kill you until you die for no reason. Way to go. He viciously stomped on the thought. Who was he to leave a defenseless -mental snicker- girl all alone? "C'mon, I'm told the view is amazing from the top floor. Plus, heat rises and the glass keeps it in, so it's probably warmer up there." He held out a hand with a smile.

Whisp quirked her brow, her face softened as Warp started talking. She agreed quietly and shifted her weight to one foot from the other, still recovering from her embarssing moment of frustration. He's nice and puts up with my nonsense. Sure, Whisp was far from being defenceless, but the buolf had many fears, being alone was one of them. There was always a gap in her stomach when she was alone, a terrible, feeling that ate her up inside.
Whisper's hand ventured out towards Warp's before it withdrew like a cobra," Wait, am I supposed to take your hand?" She questioned suddenly, biting her lower lip.

Oh, it was too easy. Warp just couldn't resist. "No, you don't have to. I can just teleport you where ever I want you to go at any time whether you like it or not." Well, why did he hold his hand out, then? Oh, that's a good reason. "I just prefer not to be so impolite. If I'm not touching you, it's incredibly painful. At least, so I understand from the screaming last time I did that with someone."
Throughout, he kept his smile, then held his hand out again. He wondered what she would make of it all. It'd be weird if she over-reacted and clung to him, but that wasn't likely. She was too smart for that, strange as she was.

(...That was awesome. XDD)
Whisp's eye visibly twitched as she crossed her arms and backed away, all the while her blue eyes squinted suspiciously at Warp, and her lower jaw jutted out. No way was she gonna trust him now. The buolf knew he was just teasing, but, that smile and that casual comment about her screaming her effing head off when he teleported got her a bit...riled up.
Her brown fur lay flat for awhile as she replied," No. Jus no. Not after that, no way in heck." She stated boldly as her feet wandered backwards.

That was an interesting reaction. Warp burst out laughing. "Ho-lee-crap! Did you think I was serious? C'mon, did it hurt the last time I warped you?" He strode slowly forward, still chuckling, and waited for Whisper to calm down. That was fun. He should do that kind of thing more often.
"No way in heck, no way in heck," he mimicked her voice badly and teased her with it, then grinned, showing he wasn't trying to be mean as he stopped advancing and held out his hand again.

Whisper narrowed her eyes, squinting as to show she didn't appriciate him mocking her voice. "No, you just startled me last time..." She rose to her defence, making a weird haand gestures as she went along talking," besides, I can beat yourbutt down, like five times over if I wanted to, so no funny business!" Ahh yes. Whisp had to defend against every offence, being purely reactive, or just acting on impulse. A ghost of a smile hovered on her lips before her mouth pulled to the side in a smug smirk.
Soon pearly white, destructive teeth showed up in a crazy phsyco grin. Whisp's hand ventured out again and grasped Warp's, with a iron clasp that grew with strength in the past five minutes. Yes...Whisp was...very...violent. To her, it was payback and fun, as Warp thought teasing her was fun.

"Holy f*cking ow lesson learned you can ease up now please." Warp didn't even bother to verbally distinguish one sentence from another as pain lanced up his arm from his poor abused hand. He wasn't sure why, but hybrids were generally more mentally unstable than pure-bred mobians, which was odd. He didn't quite understand, but simply knew it was so from back when he went to school before his teleporting started.
So the world fizzled again, and the pair travelled through the odd la-la-land that was a fixed event in space-time to land in a somewhat warmer top floor of the Crystal Tower. About ten degrees warmer, which was to say it was above zero for once. Warp noticed immediately. "See? Toasty in here almost. My hand never did anything to you, let it go. If you're mad at me just slap me."
Well, he was sorry about that the moment he said it. From what he knew, she probably would. And encase her hand in metal to do it, as though she had to to make him feel it. Warp, you are f*cking stupid. An idiot. Imbecile. Just stop with the wit, because you have none.
