Kasumi waved her hand about dismissively. She let out a harsh sigh like grunt through her teeth," Psshhhh. They won't notice, trust me. They won't be home till, atleasstttt......" The cat tapped her cheek, as she thought, her eyes half closing, as those purple hues glittered mischeiviously. "A week from now. They went to the main houseto pay respect or some silly thing." Kasumi smiled before she hopped up and opened the door. "C'mon, c'mon, let's go, I can walk, I can walk, Less go less go!"

Hikari grinned. "Walk? Heh, walkings for slow people. How's about we take the fast way there, It's much more fun." She stepped out the door and held out her hand to Kasumi, walking?
Meh, even taking the train would take awhile, Hikari had a better and faster way to get to the shrine. 'I've got my own special way of getting there."

"Well you said you walked here, soooo, you know." She laughed aloud. Kasumi skipped out after Hikari and smiled brightly. "What's the other way? Train? Car? What else is there?" The white feline bounced about the silver cat," So how are we going to go? Huh? Huh? Huh?"

"That's easy! We'll warp!" Hikari grabbed Kasumi's hand, and then there was a loud bang, the farm had disappeared and they stood on a stone path, leading up to a huge five story temple, with an extra sixth story for a bell tower.
Along the path were houses and other small buildings, storage, medical... Lots of things, at the bigging of the path was a gate, the entire section was surrounded by a stone wall, which had several blackened gaps in them as if there was a fire at somepoint, which appeared to be the case, as through one of the gaps (there used to be a gate), there was a massive flower garden with blackened trees. There was a statue of an older cat, a female soldier who looked alot like Hikari pointing a sword towards the sun.
"Welcome to the Ninth Moon Shrine!"

Kasumi gaped at the giant area. The white furred cat made a wide gesture, spreading her hands in a large circle. "WHHHOOOOAAAAAAAAAA!!" She said in a awed expression. She ran over to the shrine entrance first. "What is it dedicated to, huhuhuhuhuhuhuh?! Is there something in here that tells you?!" She ignored the great landscape around it and pulled gingerly on the handles, bouncing up and down.

"It's deticated to those who died in a war, along with my mother..." She walked up next to Kasumi as she pulled the doors open. Hikari smiled, this was the first time she'd seen someone act like this. But then, Kasumi probably wasn't used to a place this huge.
Inside was a long hall, many doors on the sides, but there were tapestries on the walls, showing soldiers fighting a war, one in a flaming village, another in the snowy mountains, probably up north somewhere, and another in an ancient city, which was also being destroyed. Near the end, golden status lined the sides of the red carpet, etheir holding weapons or some kind of musical insturment. At the end, was another statue, kneeling as if praying, a smile on her face, unlike the others, this one had been painted, it was just like the statue outside in the garden.
Hikari rushed through the hall and stood in front of the satue at the end. "Mother..."

Kasumi followed slowly, marveling at the statue and the metal weapons and musical devices. The white furred cat came up beside Hikari and half closed her eyes," So this is your mom, huh? So she's the most important warrior in this hall, huh? The shrine in Osaka is for my great, great, great grandma." Kasumi nodded to herself slowly. She walked about the area of the statue before she turned and faced the marvelous hallway. Though the shrine back at the main house, the stone shrine was very beatiful, it was nothing compared to this.

"Hmm, yeah... My mother's grave is outside in the flower garden... Through, my memory of her is kind of fuzzy." This giant shrine seemed more like a mansion than anything, the smell of food drifted from one of the doors on the side of the hall, a kitchen, it was tightly locked.
Another one was open, revealing a large bedroom, no one was inside currently. One of them near the back of the hall was open just a crack, a small white fog drifting out, a sign above showed that within was a bath, artificial hotspring anyway. There were also stairs at the front on each side of the entrance, leading to the second floor.
"Would you like to see the rest?" Hikari asked, smiling again.

Kasumi nodded knowingly before she turned on her heel. She looked at the fabulously carpeted floors, brushing her hind paws against it, it was soft on her pads as she glided along, it was as if she was unaturally graceful. Her feathery tail swished as she looked around, she saw a flight of stairs, she pointed at it and jumped about," Hey can we go up there? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?" She proded bouncing up and down.

"Yeah, sure!" Hikari headed past Kasumi and up the stairs, onto the next floor, it was around the same size of the hall below, but their were more rooms on the sides. In the center there was a golden nine-tailed kitsune statue, a mother, grooming one of it's babies.
Across from it, four sheathed swords were on display within glass cases.

As Kasumi climbed the stairs, the hat was in the way of the center of the room. The white cat looked around, hat dipped so she couldn't see the statue. She marveled at the sword,s reaching out to touch them, but decided better. She questioned slowly, reconizing them from somewhere," Where are these swords from, Hikari-?" She looked up, lavender hues looked up at the silver cat, she was about to gaze on the orange hues when her eyes widened at the statue. She suddenly coward behind Hikari," Hikari, Hikari! The-the evil creature! Th-th-the Ki-kit-kitsunes! Wh-Why to dyou have a statue of such a vile beast here?!" Her shaking hands gripped the black robed shoulders tightly, obviously fearing the golden statue, no matter how tranquil looking the statue was.

"Vile beast...? What're talking about?!" She doesn't know, calm yourself... Calm... relax... Breathe... Hikari sighed, and reached back and removed Kasumi's hand. "It's the shrine's gaurdian... She gave life to this feild a thousand years ago, she died for us..." The silver cat turned slowly.
"It's just a statue okay? There's nothing to worry about... It's just a statue..."
"Let's just, ignore her... and talk about something... Okay? Kasumi?"

Kasumi tipped her hat down and backed up from Hikari, she breathed deeply, calming herself. She sniffed, rubbing under her nose with one hand and her eyes with an exposed white sleeve with the other. "Hi...Hikari? Doo...do you know what famely I'm f-ffrom?" The white cat sighed as tears flowed frely from her sleeves, obviously she was scared out of her mind.

"Huh? What? Why would I need to kn-... No, I don't... Why is it important..?" Hikari tilted her head to the side and took a step forward, but stopped after that one step. "Kasumi... Just tell me..." She asked slowly, having no idea if her reaction would be good or bad.

"I'm...I'mm... from the Akora famely. Do you know what the Akora fear the most? Tha-that thing, scares us the most. A v-viile nintailed kit-ki-kitsunne named Sakao killed mai granma. He slaughtered a lot of my ancestors. He killed a lot of my famely years a go. The war that happened was hard to endure. And..and the Akora became paranoid." She sniffled as tears dried in her fur and she rubbed her eyes," They-they attacked a shrine that they beileved were traitors and slaughtered cats all over. Scrolls from the ordeal was passed down to me. S...see?" She slipped a scroll from her sleeve, still crying. It was woodblock, obviously very old, japanese kanji litering the beatifully enpicted frame. It read, translated," THe horrible and vile kitsunes attacked the Akora without warning. Their leader, a great black nine tail lead them in the mass murder of many akora." It enpicted a great black and red kitsune, different colored masks wraped to its tails, a great black and silver sword seemed to weight heavily on its back. A limp white body of an Akora was limping in his feral jaws, robes torn from the feral teeth, the slanted eyes of the fox glowed red like blood. "Why-why would you enpict such a horrible beast?" Kasumi cried, eyes filling with tears. Obviously, she carried the scroll to remind her of what she would fear.
