Orange eyes blinked open, staring up at the sky, the silver feline laying back on the grass of a feild. Her blackish grey robes covering up most of her body, only the leather boots showing from underneath. Her arms stretched out to the sides, the runes on her arms showing and a little pendant around her neck reflecting off the sunlight in a nice shine.
Hikari blinked, where was she? Why was she even here? She was far from Tokyo, and was supposed to be moving on to the next city. To go around exercising spirits around the country, on the four islands.
It had been, atleast two weeks since she left her shrine in Tokyo... Her head hurt, and her memory was a bit fuzzy, she couldn't remember anything past three years ago. Last night she was in sudden pain, and had just fallen in this feild. Not caring if this was anyone's land, just wanting sleep... She had gotten it through, so now what? "This... Is pointless, I'd go home... But I don't want to... I'd go on to the next town, but I can't..."

The golden fields glittered as sunlight flickered off and on of the golden strands brushing against one another as a white feline moved about the hay field. It was burning hot, and the cat seemed to have her robes pulled up on up to her elbows and knees.
The sky held no clouds what so ever leaving the poor farmer girl to smother in the intensity of the invisible flames. Her name was Kasumi Akora, it was her turn to tend to the fields today, she didn't mind raking the hay down, it was just tiring. She waded through the golden ocean, a rake hefted over her shoulder as she tipped the straw hat up to reveal her pretty face. Lavender hues sparkled with sunlight as salty beads of moisture rolled down the parting white fur.
She sniffed, rubbing her forehead to wipe away the clear water. She looked around, hearing a voice somewhere. She lifted the rake and pointed at the air, her face terrified. "Hello? Wh...Whoever y...wou arre... This is the Akora Fields! Th..this is private prop...property!" She swiped it in the air, the heavy rake far to hefty for her.

Hikari blinked again, shooting up into a standing postion, she wasn't far from Kasumi, in front of her, but atleast ten feet maybe? She blinked again. "I... I'm sorry...! I'm really sorry, I got lost...!"
She took a step back, eyes narrowed at the white cat ahead of her. A rake? Well it was unlikely, but if she got attacked she could fight back with her hidden weapons. "I j-just..." She glanced away from Kasumi, down at her forearm, completely stained in blood... Why didn't she notice it before? She was bleeding...

Kasumi dropped the rake, feeling that the akward weapon was far to heavy for her to wield. The white cat looked the other up and down, her robes were very pretty, she must've come from a rich family. Lavender hues rested kindly on the silver cat before they strayed to the forearm. "Oh my! Wha...what happened?!" Her nervousness got the best of her, hands up to her mouth as if to chew her claws, it was a...bad habit of hers say the least. The straw hat slid backwards, golden steams falling onto her back and revealing her pretty white hair, held neatly into a bun by two beige bamboo chopsticks. The bun was messy, say the least, but it was the only way to keep her neck semi-dry, and due to being a farm girl it didn't matter much to her. "I'm..I'm sorry for not smelling to blood earlier... I would've taken care of you instead of threatening you with a rake..." She muttered sadly before she rushed towards the stranger and examined the wound. It was to hard to see with all the blood. "C'mon, c'mon, I'll help you with it, my house is over there." The smaller white cat proded the strangerin the back, trying to move her into the direction of the little farm house in the far distance. "You're from Tokyo, huh? You dialect is different from mine. How'd you get here?" Kasumi ventured slowly.

"I walked, I was in Osaka two days ago... I walked all the way from my shrine..." Hikari sighed, being forced along, with her hand wrapped around her bleeding forearm, to contain the bleeding, even through it'd just get on her hand and ruin her robes.
That's a house...? She thought slowly, if she'd said it, this person might've thought she was trying to insult her, but that wasn't it... She'd just wasn't used to smaller places...
"I couldn't trouble you with this, it's probably just a small cut, or some scratches... I should be going..."

"To bad! I need to atleast clean it." They were but two small dots in a sea of dancing gold. The white feline kept pushing and proding, her petite hands placed along the stranger's lower back. Her long feathery tail twitched in annoyance, it was obvious she wasn't that strong, slow progress and not being able to swing a rake were signs of this. Though Kasumi had stubborn determination on her side. They were nearing the little farm house, almost on the outskirts. Now that they were closer it was clear to see two seprate houses, one bigger than the other, but not by much. They were coming a cloth line, hung between two trees, dripping wet robes indicated that there was a river, maybe a lake nearby. A lone swing meant perhaps she was a single child, it was nothinb but rope weaved from the hay surronding the feild and an uncofortable looking plank of rough wood, threatening to sick you with a load of splinters, ready to launch. It was a quiant little area, the rice paper doors held no shadow within. Kasumi turned the silver cat towards the smaller house," My parents aren't home right now, so we can go in there and clean you up." She explained," It's a lot cleaner in there, and it has more easily accessable bandages and ointments and all that stuff."

"Really, I'm fine... I don't need to be cleaned up... Oh, alright fine..."I give up... Hikari sighed, as she was being forced inside by this girl, her eye twitched and she looked back at Kasumi. "And could you stop that...? It's not nice..."
Well, that was one of the reasons she wanted her to stop, the tip of her daggers were under the back of her robes, and she didn't want this girl to end up poking againest the blades, and cut her finger. "I don't know why'd you bother. I was tresspassing, I shouldn't be here... miss...?"

"Not until you're cleaned up." Kasumi smiled back as she closed the door behind them. An electric light flickered on as Kasumi rumaged through the shelves and cabinets. The white feline eventually came up with a ball of cloth-like bandages. "Because, you're a living person, you deserve to be treated like one, too, right?" Kasumi questioned, her eyes scanning through the shelves. Her long tail swished about as she looked around the contents. The white feline looked over her shoulder and smiled brightly," My name is Kasumi Akora, some people call me "Suzu", like my sister." Her voice softened at the end, as if it was one of the many soft clinks in her armor.

Hikari smiled weakly. "I'm Hikari Yami..." She said slowly, her tail twitching as she glanced around, it wasn't much, but it was a pretty nice place. Her sister? Oh, she realised it now, maybe her sister had died, but she wasn't going to ask about it.
She brushed a hand through her long dark hair and sighed, why was she so nice...? "Your a little too nice you know, I could be here to rob you for all you know... Or even hurt you, besides what would you parents do if they found you helping a stranger?"

Kasumi laughed aloud. She held up some ointment in her hands as she scooted towards Hikari. "Hahahahaha! That's funny! It's obvious you wouldn't robe anyone, your aura doesn't say that about you. I seems you're a good person, you kill demons and evil spirits, don't you?" She smiled as if all of it was commmon knowledge. The white held out her hand, gesturing for Hikari's hand, as she talked away," If my parents found you here? I think My mom and dad would help me. They're nicer than most folks within a ten mile radius around here, trust me." Kasumi laughed a bit more.

"How'd you...? Aura...? Oh, you can sense Aura's... I see... Yeah, I do." Hikari actually smiled properly, and laughed a bit. She held out her forearm for Kasumi and her smile widened, this actually felt good.
"Your farm is a nice and comforting place, reminds me of my shrine."

Kasumi tipped her head to the side. "Your shrine? You guys live on a shrine? That's cool. What's the shrine dedicated to?" The white feline asked innocently. The Akora family was well known for sensing auras, they were also well known for having their own shrin in Osaka, though it wasn't as big as Hikari's probably was, it was small, made of stone and enshrined in stone enpicting a pretty female cat holding a fan to her mouth in long draping kimono, a shawl about her shoulders.

"What's it deticated too...? Oh... I'm not sure really, it's supposed to be a building of protection, because we've got special treasure's inside... We actually live in buildings around it through..." Hikari blinked and stared at the ceiling for a moment or two, ignoring all sound and scents until she slowly brought herself back from thought.
"I could take you there one day if you want..."

"Sure! You can take me there after this!" Kasumi insisted, as she ripped the bandage roll from the neat job. Her white fur started to lay flat as she put the roll of bandages back on the shelf, she turned back to Hikari and smiled brightly as she tried to relate to the silver cat," You know, we have a shrine in the main house down at Osaka. It's made out of stone, and it shows the great Akora hero. She has a sword in one hand and a fan in the other." She said before she added," They say that sword's real, I mean, it's metal and all, but it can't be removed from the hand. I don't know her name or what's it for, I've only been there once, but they told me a lot of stories about the sword she's holding, they say it's called the "Yu Bashuri", isn't that cool? They told me this one story about her and this really evil foxy-creature thing and..." Kasumi rambled on as she hopped about the smaller house.

Hikari listened silently, smiling, could she really take her there? It was far, really far. Hikari had walked, but maybe they could take the train? She had money with her after all. "Kasumi... I can't take you unless it's okay with your parents, they wouldn't be very happy to find out you suddenly disappeared..." "Made of stone... Hmm, I can't remember if I saw that when I was there... And an evil fox? No... Doesn't make much sense, oh well..."
"I they say yes, I'd be glad to take you."
